Greece got debt relief from Eurozone

Eurozone finance ministers have approved debt relief measure to alleviate Greece debt of 86 billion euro bailout.


The Eurozone's 19 finance ministers statement said "the Eurogroup has endorsed the full set of shot term measures including extending the payment period and an adjustment to interst rates."

The Erozone finance ministers accorded Athens the small measures to reduce Greece's debt as a reward for completing the latest round of reforms demanded in the country's massive bailout programme - its third since 2010.

The head of the European Stability Mechanism, the eurozone's bailout fund Mr Klaus Regling said "we will start implementing them in next week"

Greek finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos said "its very important for all sides, including the IMF, to not jeopardize this progress with increased uncertainty."
